Project report - 2002

Main objective:

The main objective of the Study Visit is to plan a Youth Exchange.

 

Countries involved:

From Europe: Germany, Ireland, Sweden

South America: Chile, Argentina

 

The Youth Exchange 2002 will be between 16 young people with epilepsy from Europe and 16 young people with epilepsy from South America. The first part of the exchange will take place in August, 2002 in Bielefeld, Germany. See EYiE5 for more details.

 

The tasks to be completed in the Study Visit

  1. identify the potential barriers;
  2. establish the structure of the Youth Exchange;
  3. identify the issues relevant to South America;
  4. assess the risks in all arrangements and activities;
  5. assess the possible impact of bringing together young people from widely differing cultures: including identifying potential for conflicts;
  6. assess the training needs, e.g. internet training workshop.
  7. Participate in the first Chilian Youth Meeting.
The Chilian national youth meeting took place in Santiago from 10th to 12th January 2002.
